About

T. Isajanyan may have been born in Toronto, Canada, but her heart always belonged to Armenia. Here, she has met her soulmate and found an incomparable zest for life. When she is not writing, she is with her beautiful daughters as a SAHM. Her mind, however, is forever conjuring up new stories that desperately cry out to be written.

The stories are inspired by the myths and legends of the ancient Near East and the Armenian Highlands, reimagined through a Bronze Age lens. She's drawn to the spaces where history blurs into legend, and where grief, loyalty, and betrayal shape the fate of kingdoms as much as swords and crowns.

At the heart of her work is A Tale of Hayara, a historical fantasy series that blends divine conflict with deeply personal stakes; stories about chosen bloodlines and stolen thrones, but also about people who love fiercely, feel deeply, and are forced to reckon with gods who see mortals as pieces on a chessboard.

She writes for readers who love lyrical prose, emotionally devastating narratives, and stories where the gods are not distant ideals, but living forces whose choices echo through generations.

All legends are born from choices made too late, and sacrifices made too soon.
